Rent Our Lovely
Historic Building
The German Evangelical People’s Church building on Washington Street was purchased in 1925. Built in 1899, it represents Naperville’s once-thriving limestone quarry industry and is an excellent and rare example of Gothic Revival architecture. In 2011, the Naperville City Council designated the clubhouse a Local Landmark in recognition of the building’s important legacy for the entire community. By preserving this building, the Woman’s Club protects a part of the community’s history.
NWC’s 1899 Local Landmark building is available for meetings, performances, baby and bridal showers, weddings, and private parties. Guests will be enchanted as they enter the well-known Purple Doors of The Old Stone Church at 14 South Washington Street. The building is accessible and features a catering kitchen, stage, piano, seating for up to 100 and free parking. The central location boasts quick access to the interstate, hotels, restaurants, and fabulous shopping in downtown Naperville.
Schedule an appointment today to view the inside! Competitive rates ($140 per hour) plus cleaning fee when applicable. Convenient parking make this a choice location for business meetings or social gatherings. Add an aura of Naperville history to your event.
