About Us

The Naperville Woman's Club was founded as a literary club in 1897 by 19 women. These charter members initiated programs for intense study, but philanthropic projects quickly followed.  In 1903, the literary club became the Naperville Woman's Club.  NWC focuses its philanthropic activities on art, eduation and comminity services.  The anual Fine Art & Artiisan Fair is the longest contiuously operating art fair in Illinois.  An Annual Young Adult Art Contest recognize the talents of area high school students
Several scholarship are granted each year. Fundraisers provide funds and supplies to local charitable organizations. Club members also participate in local service projects that benefit the community.
